Time is officially flying people! Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, and we don’t know about you, but we’re still recovering from the holidays. Nonetheless, this is the token month of the year to show the one’s you love just how much you care about them. Since we love taking matters into our own hands (LITERALLY), we wanted to share with you our ultimate Valentine’s DIY ideas. Whether it’s Valentine’s or Galentines, these cute ideas will warm the hearts of your man or your besties.
For your man or lovely lady:
DATE NIGHT JENGA
What you’ll need:
- Jenga Blocks
- Sharpie
- Decorative Box
How To:
1. Use the black sharpie marker to write different love-themed instructions on each block. Check the end of this section for some ideas.
2. Don’t be afraid to spice things up – remember this is a stay-at-home type of game for you and your heart’s desire. Have some fun with it!
3. Once you’ve finished writing the “instructions”, add little hearts to the ends of the blocks to make it extra cute!
4. Wrap it up with some tissue and place the pieces in the decorated box.
Rules of the game:
1. Build your tower of love and come up with the grand prize!

FOR YOUR GALENTINE’S
YOU’RE THE BOMB
What you’ll need:
- 1 cup baking soda
- 1/2 cup citric acid or lemon juice
- 1/2 epsom salt
- Dried rose petals
- 3 Tsp oil (some recipes call for almond, some say olive oil)
- 5 drops of your favourite essential oil (we love Lavender)
- Bath bomb molds or any type of baking mold
- 1 tsp water
- whisk
- spoon
- 1 large bowl and 1 small bowl
- card stock
- twine
- printable “you’re the bomb” labels
How to:
1. In a large bowl, combine all of your dry ingredients.
2. Tear dried rose petals into small pieces and add dry ingredients. Mix with a whisk.
3. In a small bowl, combine all of your wet ingredients and mix together with a spoon.
4. Very slowly, stir together your wet and dry ingredients. The consistency of your mixture should feel like damp sand.
5. Fill one half of your bath bomb mold with the mixture. Make sure to pack it tightly and fill it until the mold is slightly overfilled. Repeat with the other half of the bath bomb mold.
6. Squish both halves of your bath bomb mold together. Keep your bath bomb in the mold for a few minutes and then remove it from the mold. Let it dry over night.
7. Print your “You’re the bomb” labels and attach to your bath bombs with a piece of twine.
