When life gives you lemons, trade them for coffee.
In a city like ours, the choices for coffee are endless. With diverse menus of coffee blends nearly everywhere, deciding where to go can be a difficult (and a sometimes overwhelming) endeavour. After hopping from one coffee shop to the next for as long as we have, we wanted to narrow things down and share with you our top 5 spots for your morning, afternoon or late-night caffeine fix!
1. BALZAC’S
With six locations across the city, this place serves an epic Hazelnut Latté avec almond milk. There was one week when one of us had five of these in just a span of two days! We’re kind of obsessed.
2. HER MAJESTY’S PLEASURE
HMJ doesn’t just have the most beautiful, pampering atmosphere and epic lighting. Their extravagant menu of beverages ranges from freshly made lattés, cappuccinos and even martinis! What more can a girl ask for during a mani/pedi?
3. QUANTUM COFFEE
This super cool hangout spot has an eclectic vibe and is always buzzing with people. Perfect for catching up with an old friend, working on the blog or simply popping in for a quick brew, this place is a perfect gem in the heart of King St. West.
4. STARBUCKS
Basically a no-brainer, we could never live without our Starbucks. Its ever-changing menu paired with our token morning fuel orders, no two days are ever the same in this joint. I mean, the Unicorn Frappuccino…stop it right now.
5. SORRY COFFEE
Although we didn’t LOVE the coffee here, this is a great little spot to stop after a long day of Yorkville shopping. #sorrynotsorry
As much as we love our token coffee shops, we’re always looking to expand our horizons when it comes to our favourite beverage. Check out our Coffee Bucket List:
- Hale Coffee
- Boxcar Social
- Dineen Coffee Co.
- Early Bird
If you’ve been to any of these places, give us your review and tell us all about it!
